The Bond van Varkens K.I. (Pig Artificial Insemination Confederation) has already been benefiting from our technological knowledge for ten years. In 1997, they were looking for a different automation program to support the business processes at the eight artificial insemination stations. The application used up until that point had been expanded over the years on an ‘ad hoc’ basis and consisted of a string of interconnected programs which together formed an integrated whole. Moreover, there were doubts as to whether it would survive the Y2K issues. At that time, they chose IQuality because of our open attitude. Software and cooperation
We developed the program KIS-2000. Everything which happens in the eight artificial insemination stations takes place via this program, from ordering, registration, production and logistics right through to invoicing. The development of KIS-2000 marked the start of a long, intense cooperation. For example, since the handover we have been providing reliable management. And every quarter, we incorporate the requirements of the confederation into a new release. We have done this to the great satisfaction of Jan Sallevelt: “In all those years, we never wanted anything which IQuality could not provide. They are open, dynamic and transparent.
